    Pak Lite comes with a alkaline battery, but you can add to your purchase one or more 9 volt Lithium batteries (see 'Styles' on the right). This is the 9 volt battery used to power smoke alarms for 10 years. A carbon-zinc battery will normally last 1 year, a alkaline battery 2 years…Ultralife Lithium will last up to 10 years. A strong aluminum case protects the battery even if you accidentally drop it. Buy one to go with your Pak Lite, or buy as many as you like separately.
